This Privacy Policy explains how Techpuram (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Text to Reel mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive information from that provider, such as your name, email address, and profile photo (if shared). We store your Firebase user ID, email, display name, photo URL, token balance, and subscription or plan details in our database (Firebase Firestore).

2.2 Content you provide for generation

When you create a video, we process information you enter or upload, including:

2.3 Generated content and history

When generation completes, we store video files, thumbnails, metadata, and a history entry linked to your account so you can replay content in the App. If you choose to share a reel to Trending, we also store your display name (or email local-part), prompt, and video URL in the Trending feed for other signed-in users.

2.4 Purchases and tokens

If you buy token packs through Google Play, we store purchase records such as product ID, tokens credited, and Google Play verification data so we can credit your balance. Tokens are credits used to generate videos; they are not a fee for permanent cloud hosting.

Promo codes you redeem may also be stored with redemption details.

2.5 Usage and analytics data

We collect product analytics through Firebase Analytics, including events such as sign-in method, screen views, tab selection, generation started/completed/failed, token spend, likes, shares, and review prompts. We link analytics to your Firebase user ID. We do not send raw prompts, scripts, or images to analytics.

2.6 Device and local data

The App may store information locally on your device, including:

The App may download fonts from Google Fonts to display typography. Google may receive standard network information (such as IP address) when fonts are fetched.

4. How content is stored and shared

4.1 Cloud storage

Generated videos and related media are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud). Main video files are typically retained for about 10 days, after which they are deleted automatically. History metadata may remain longer with expired status. Thumbnails, audio files, reference images, and user avatars may be retained under separate rules until deleted by cleanup processes or by you (where available).

4.2 Trending feed (opt-in)

Your videos are not automatically published to Trending. You must explicitly choose to share a reel to Trending. When you do, other signed-in users may see your display name, prompt, and video in the feed. You can unpublish from Trending where the App provides that option.

4.3 External sharing

If you use the system share sheet, you choose where to send content (for example messaging or social apps). We do not control how third-party apps handle information you share with them.

We use third-party services to operate the App. These providers process data under their own privacy policies:

AI generation requests are processed on our backend (Firebase Cloud Functions), which sends your prompts, scripts, and optional images to the providers above as needed to produce output.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data based on: performance of our contract with you (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, analytics, product improvement), and consent (where required, such as optional Trending sharing or photo access).

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We use industry-standard safeguards through Firebase and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use a strong Google or Apple account and keep your device secure.

Your information may be processed in countries where we and our service providers operate, including the United States and other countries where Google and AI providers maintain infrastructure.

11. Children’s privacy

Text to Reel is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, when required, ask you to review and accept the updated policy in the App before continued use.
