Where does the gold rate come from?
The app shows indicative market rates for each city, refreshed every 30 minutes, along with board rates published by leading jewellers. Always confirm the final price with your jeweller before buying.
How does the tomorrow forecast work?
Every evening at 6 PM IST the app compares today's international gold price with yesterday's. A move above 0.3% up or down is flagged as a likely rise or fall in tomorrow's retail rate; smaller moves are shown as holding steady.
Can I see the price per sovereign or pavan?
Yes. The calculator works in grams, sovereign/pavan (8 g) and tola, which is how gold is usually quoted in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Is the app free?
